Well, thanks to those who came out last night and made it an awesome monday. as we all know, mondays fucking blow shit ugh hate it. BUT! we managed to have a couple drinks, dance a little, and have fun. Much thanks to The Blind Barber, for housing lil ol me and me friends. We love it there!
As you’ll see i’ve started a “Theatre is cool.” campaign. Theatre is cool. I don’t like the separation. Like sometimes i feel embarrassed to say I’m an actor. Thats my own shit, but its not always a great conversation. “I’m an actor”, “oh! what are you in?”, “nothing.”… or “soo what do you do?”, “i’m an actor”, “ooooooohhhhh”. judgy judgy!! well i think i can make theatre cool by saying it is. by having fun, listening to good rock and roll, drinks, being around creative people. WE ARE THE SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE!!! especially in new york city is this the most important. not only that, but i’m a young theatre maker. trying to get my voice out there. and trying to do something else. theatre is cool.
